Kia Seltos after 10,000 Kms: Ownership review on video

South Korean car manufacturer Kia Motors made their entry into the Indian market with a super hit product Kia Seltos. The Seltos is currently one of the best selling mid-Size SUV in the market. It has been popular among buyers since its launch because of its bold looks, features and the competitive price at which it was launched. Kia Seltos has been launched for around 6 months and now is a very common car to be spotted on our roads. Here we have a video that shows what is the overall experience of owning a brand new Kia Seltos including the maintenance part.

The video has been uploaded by UandI Automobiles on his youtube channel. The video starts by sharing the things that the vlogger liked about the car. First thing is the looks. He tells on video that he was planning to buy Harrier initially but the model he planned to buy was expensive and was out of his budget. He then started looking for alternatives and finally when he saw Seltos he immediately liked its design, price and the features it offered that too in his budget.

The car in video has done over 10,000 km and one of the major things that he liked about the car was the insulation levels. The cabin is well insulated as the outside noise remains outside. Even the engine noise does not filter into the cabin very much. Coming to the things that he did not like or wanted to improve were the suspension that are on the stiffer side. The vlogger wanted the suspension to be a bit more softer and the other things that he is not satisfied are the tyres. Apart from that the owner loved almost everything in the Seltos.

As mentioned above, Seltos has done over 10,000 kms and has been in the service centre for couple of times for periodical services. During these visits to the showroom vloggers experience was pretty good and had also replaced couple of items like the LED indicator on the ORVM and the side cladding on the right side rear wheel arch. Prices of these parts were not on the expensive side. The vlogger owns a 1.5 litre naturally aspirated petrol variant. Seltos is also available with a 1.4 litre turbo petrol and a 1.5 litre diesel engine. The vlogger is very happy with the car so far both in terms of ownership and cost of maintenance.
