Many people consider the Kia Seltos to be the best looking mid-size SUV in the segment. The SUV was launched in 2019 and was an instant hit. It took the pole position from the Hyundai Creta and became a popular choice among buyers. Here, is a sporty version of the Seltos imagined by an artist.
The render is done by sdesyn and the pictures are shared on the Instagram page. The render does look very appealing and many people might consider the looks of this one over the regular Seltos.
It is important to note that this is just an imagination of the artist. Kia has not announced any information regarding a sportier variant of the Seltos. However, they have recently launched the X-Line variant of the Seltos.
There are a bunch of modifications done in the render. The artist is calling it Seltos GTZ. Up-front it has the same LED headlamps setup with the same LED Daytime Running Lamps and ice cube fog lamps. The headlamps do have a smoked effect though.
However, it boasts a different grille finished in piano black. The front bumper is also different and more aggressive. It is finished in a unique orange shade of paint with black A and B pillars.
On the side, we can see that the Seltos has been lowered using sport springs. This should improve the handling of the SUV. It is running on different alloy wheels that are larger and the tyre are also wider. The rear spoiler is finished in black and looks good as it adds contrast. The fenders are wider and more pronounced to accommodate the wider tyres. There is also an all-wheel-drive badge on the front fender. The regular Seltos in India is offered only as a front-wheel-drive vehicle.
At the rear, there is quite a bit of change. It has slimmer LED headlamps that are joined with a black strip. The SUV has gone through chrome delete so all the exterior chrome has been replaced with piano black. The bumper is also different and looks much more aggressive because of the quad exhausts.
Seltos price and competitors
