The base petrol variant comes powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine that generates a maximum of 113 Bhp and 144 Nm. It gets a 6-speed manual transmission as standard and returns a maximum fuel efficiency of 20.8 km/l.

The diesel automatic gets a 6-speed automatic transmission and would be a great choice if you want the most affordable automatic variant of the Seltos, which will be extremely useful in the crowded city traffic.
