Kia Seltos, which has become a blockbuster hit in the Indian market soon after its launch in the Indian market. The Seltos has now become the most popular car in the segment and is even outselling the long-time favourite, Hyundai Creta in the Indian market. Kia Motors released a new video of the Seltos that shows the brilliance of the lights used in the car. The video also explains the philosophy behind the lights used in the Kia Seltos.
Since this video has been uploaded by the Kia Worldwide YouTube account, the car shown here is slightly different from the Indian-spec Kia Seltos. The video shows the vehicle’s lighting system all around. It highlights the front LED light bar on the top of the grille that adds a magical touch to the Seltos and makes it look very futuristic. The Kia Seltos also gets split headlamps. The car gets turn indicators positioned in the lower part of the bumper while the main headlamps are all-LED and look extremely good. It should be noted that all the lamps in the Kia Seltos are LED lamps.
In the international market, the Kia Seltos also gets a LED light bar in the rear. However, this is not available in the Indian model. The Kia Seltos also gets beautiful ambient lighting. The designers of the car also say that the Seltos has been designed as an art form. Well, the interior of the Seltos looks quite interesting, especially the design Bose speaker system that is angled in design that makes it look very funky. The cabin lamps are also all-LED and offer a premium look to the vehicle.
There is a long waiting period on the Kia Seltos currently. The car is available in a large number of options that include as many as 18 variants. Also, the Kia Seltos offers three different engine options and all the three different engine options offer different types of automatic transmissions. This is the first car in India to offer such a wide range of powertrains and automatic transmission options. The Kia Seltos also offers a range of segment-leading features including Heads-Up Display, blind view monitor, electrically adjustable front seats, ventilated front seats, large touchscreen infotainment system with UVO connectivity system that offers a range of mobile-app based features including live tracking of the vehicle.
The Kia Seltos currently takes on the likes of Hyundai Creta, MG Hector, Tata Harrier, Nissan Kicks, Renault Captur and even the likes of Jeep Compass, and Mahindra XUV500.
