Many people consider the Kia Seltos to be the best looking mid-size SUV in the Indian market. Because they are selling so well, you would find a lot of them on the road. Some people want their cars to be unique so they go and customize them. Here, is such a Seltos that has been wrapped in Nardo Grey colour.
Nardo Grey was first introduced by Audi for their RS line-up of cars. For instance, TT RS, RS3, RS6 Avant, R8 etc. Since then, the Nardo Grey has become a hit among enthusiasts. Aftermarket shops have also started offering Nardo Grey paint schemes and even wraps.
The Seltos that we see in the pictures has been customized by @dhanastickers and the pictures have been shared on their Instagram page. The modification shop has wrapped the Seltos and has made other customizations also. The cost of modifications has not been mentioned in the Instagram post.

The Seltos has been wrapped in Nardo Grey. It has a dual-tone paint job so all the pillars, roof and rearview mirrors are finished in black. The alloy wheels are the same that Kia offers but have been repainted in glossy black colour. For a hint of sportiness, the Kia logo’s surround and brake calipers are finished in red colour.
Overall, the shop has done a very good job and the Seltos looks very nice in this shade of grey. Wraps are much easier to apply and maintain than repainting the whole vehicle. Also, if you repaint the vehicle, then you would have to update your registration certificate too. Wraps lie in a grey area of rules where you can wrap your vehicle and you do not need to update your registration certificate.
Wraps also protect the original paint of the vehicle. Even if the wrap gets damaged then you can just peel it off and your original paint should be intact. The cost of wrap depends on the quality. So, the wraps start at Rs. 30,000 and can cost a few lakh rupees too.
Kia Seltos X-Line
Kia recently launched the X-Line variant of the Seltos. The X-Line is the new top-end variant of the Seltos. It is the first vehicle to get a matte paint job from the factory. The Seltos X-Line was first showcased at the Auto Expo 2020. Earlier, Volkswagen did showcase the Polo in a matte paint job but they never launched it.
Apart from the new paint, the X-Line also comes with new 18-inch alloy wheels, orange accents and chrome has been replaced with dark chrome. All of this combined gives, the Seltos X-Line a very stealthy look.
The X-Line will not be offered with a manual gearbox. You can get it with a turbo diesel engine with a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission or a turbocharged petrol engine with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The petrol variant is priced at Rs. 17.79 lakhs ex-showroom and diesel variant cost Rs. 18.10 lakhs ex-showroom.
