Kia Seltos X-Line compact SUV: In Images

Kia in currently one of the popular vehicle manufacturer in the country. In 2019, Kia debut in Indian market with their mid size SUV Seltos and it quickly became a popular choice among SUV buyers in the country. It became ppular for its bold looks and features. Last year at the Auto Expo, Kia had showcased X-Line concept of Seltos which was a much more rugged looking version of regular SUV. Now in 2021, Kia has officially unveiled the X-Line version of the Seltos and here we have a set of images that shows how different X-Line version is from regular Seltos.

The images have been shared by fuelinjected918 on their Instagram page. The main attraction on the ne Kia Seltos X-Line is definitely the paint job. The gloss paint on the SUV has been replaced with the matte graphite paint job. This completely changes the look of the car and gives it a rugged look. The chrome elements on the regular Kia Seltos have been replaced or finished in gloss black finish for a sporty look.

At the front, the X-Line version retains the Tiger Nose grille with extended LED DRLs in it. The headlamps and turn indicators are all LED. The X-Line version is based on the top-end GTX Plus variant which means it comes loaded with features to the brim. As we move down, to the bumper, it has ice cube shaped LED fog lamps and gloss black surround with orange accents on the lower grille.

Coming to the side profile, the Seltos X-Line has 18 inch alloy wheels in new design. Regular Seltos comes with 17 inch wheels. The orange accent that is seen at the front is seen on the lower part of the door. The black cladding has been retained to give it the SUV look. The door handles and the lower window garnish are finished in chrome. Moving to the rear, the split LED tail lamps are seen here. The chrome strip running across the boot connecting the tail lamps have been finished in gloss black.

Seltos X Line branding can be seen on the tail gate and just like at the front, rear bumper also comes with orange accents. That is all about the exterior on the inside, Kia has changed the colour theme of the cabin. Kia Seltos X-Line now comes with Indigo or blue and black coloured dual tone interiors. The dashboard and all the other elements remain the same as regular Seltos. The upholstery on the seat and door pads are now Indigo or Blue coloured.

Kia has not announced the price of the X-Line version yet. As this is based on the top-end GTX version, it is expected to be slightly more expensive than the top-end version. Seltos GT Line is offered with both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol version is a 1.4 litre turbocharged unit which comes with manual and a 7-speed DCT gearbox option. The diesel version on the other hand is powered by a 1.5 litre unit and comes with manual and automatic transmission option.
