The chrome finish on the front grille has all been blacked out. Lower part of the bumper gets Orange accents which differentiate it from regular GT Line verisons.
It retains, all LED headlamps, turn indicators and ice cube shaped LED fog lamps. Coming to the side profile, Kia offers 18 inch alloy wheels with a new design to it. Moving inside, the interiors on the Seltos remain the same as regular Seltos. The only change here are the upholstery. X-Line version now gets Indigo Pera Leatherette upholstery. As this is based on the top-end trim, Seltos offers all the features that Kia offers. The X-Line variant of the Kia Seltos is available with 1.5 litre turbo diesel with automatic transmission and 1.4 litre turbo petrol engine with 7-speed DCT gearbox. Manual versions do not come in X-Line variant. The turbo petrol variant is price at Rs 17.79 lakh, ex-showroom and the diesel is priced at Rs 18.10 lakh, ex-showroom.
Kia had showcased the X-Line concept of Seltos at the Auto Expo last year. The Concept was a more rugged looking version of the regular Seltos. The production version however misses out on several design elements from the concept. The X-Line launched in the market is more like a Seltos with ample cosmetic changes to make it look more rugged or different from other SUVs in the segment. Kia Seltos is a mid size SUV that competes with cars like Hyundai Creta, Renault Duster, Nissan Kicks, MG Hector, Tata Harrier in the segment.
