Kia is currently one of the popular car manufacturer in the country. Kia made debut with Seltos in the Indian market in 2019 and it quickly became popular among buyers. People really appreciated its bold looks and features loaded cabin. Seltos is a mid size SUV that competes with cars like Hyundai Creta, MG Hector, Tata Harrier in the segment. Kia recently launched an X-Line version of the Seltos in the market which comes at a starting price of Rs 17.79 lakh, ex-showroom. Kia India has now released a new TVC for this new variant of Seltos SUV.
The video has been uploaded by Kia India on their official YouTube channel. In this video, all the changes that differentiate regular or GT Line version of Seltos from the X-Line version are shown. Kia is offering Seltos X-Line as the top-end variant of the SUV. It is placed above the GT-Line version of the Seltos.

The main attraction on the Seltos X-Line is the paint job. It now gets exclusive matte Graphite coloured exteriors. This gives it a rugged look. As this is based on the higher trim, X-Line variant is available with all the features that already came with the car. At the front, headlamps are all LED and the extended LED DRLs to the front grille are also retained. The chrome garnish around the Tiger Nose grille has been replaced with gloss black elements.
The ice cube shaped LED fog lamps can be seen on the bumper. The lower part of the bumper gets a gloss black finish and an orange insert is also seen here. This gives it a sportier look from the front. Coming to the side profile, the main difference here are the new 18 inch alloy wheels. They get a new design with orange orange coloured cap in the center. Just like at the front, the lower door cladding on the X-Line version gets an orange strip. The door handles and the lower window garnish are finished in chrome.
Coming to the rear, X-Line gets a gloss black strip running between the tail lamps. The tail lamps are all LED and the lower part of the bumper gets gloss black finish with orange accents. There is an X-Line badging on the tail gate as well. Inside the cabin, everything remains the same as before. The only difference is the upholstery. It now comes with Indigo Pera leathrette upholstery.
X-Line was actually showcased by Kia at the Auto Expo last year but, the concept was entirely different from what we have in the market. It was a lot more aggressive and rugged looking version of the regular Seltos. Kia is offering Seltos with variety of engine and transmission options and no mechanical changes have been made to it. The X-Line variant is offered with 1.4 litre turbo petrol DCT and 1.5 litre turbo diesel automatic variants. X-Line variant is not available with a manual gearbox. The 1.4 litre turbo petrol is priced at Rs 17.79 lakh, ex-showroom and the 1.5 litre diesel automatic is priced at Rs 18.10 lakh, ex-showroom.
