Kia Motors India has launched its third and most affordable product in the Indian market – the Sonet. Prices start from Rs, 6.71 lakh, making it cheaper than Hyundai Venue (Priced from Rs. 6.75 lakh and the Maruti Brezza – priced from Rs. 7.34 lakh. Here is a detailed price list of the all-new Sonet.
Just like the Seltos, the Sonet is divided into two major groups – Tech Line and GT Line. The GT Line variants are loaded with features and also look very aggressive compared to the Tech Line variants. There are five different trim levels in the Tech Line variant while only one variant with the GT Line. Here is a detailed list of features available with all the trim levels of the Kia Sonet.

Kia Sonet engine and transmission
The Sonet gets three engine options. There is a 1.2-litre petrol engine that generates a maximum power of 82 Bhp and a peak torque of 115 Nm. There is also a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine produces a maximum power of 118 Bhp and peak torque of 172 Nm. The 1.5-litre diesel engine is available in two states of tunes. The Tech Line variants will draw a maximum of 99 Bhp while the top-end GTX+ will get 113 Bhp from this same engine.
Kia will export the all-new Sonet from India to 70 countries. The Sonet was first showcased as a concept and was unveiled last month. It became one of the most anticipated cars in the Indian market. Kia started accepting the bookings for the car sometime back and on the first day, the bookings crossed 6,500. Kia has now revealed that the total number of bookings stand at a massive number. The all-new Sonet will take on the likes of Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport, Mahindra XUV300, Honda WR-V but its biggest rival will be the Hyundai Venue, which offers almost similar features, engine options and transmission options.
