Kia Motors India unveiled their upcoming compact SUV few weeks ago. The Sonet is a sub-4 meter compact SUV that will compete with the likes of Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300 and Ford EcoSport. Kia has officially started accepting bookings for the new Sonet and is expected to be launched in the market next month. The automaker has released several promotional videos for Sonet in the past and this time they have released a new TVC for the upcoming vehicle.
The video has been Kia Motors India on their official youtube channel. The video is basically a continuation of older teaser videos that Kia had released. In this video features that are offered with Sonet SUV is highlighted. It starts by showing the all LED headlamp at the front. The front of the car looks muscular and the Tiger nose grille gives it a more aggressive front. The heartbeat shaped LED DRL give a distinct identity to the car.

The side profile of the car reveals the diamond cut alloy wheels that look good on the car. It had dual tone finish and the grab rail on top and the side cladding gives it a rugged look. Moving to the rear of the car, the LED tail lights with a reflector bar running between them looks good. The lower part of bumper is finished in dual tone with silver and gloss black treatment on it.
On the inside, Kia Sonet offers a host of features. It comes with ventilated seats, 10.25 inch touchscreen infotainment system, Bose audio system, electric sunroof, Smart air purifier, multi function steering wheel, climate control, AC vents for rear passengers and so on. Just like other Kia models, Sonet is also available with UVO connect feature which allows features like remote engine start/stop, navigation and so on.
Kia Sonet will offered with three engine options. The 1.0 litre turbo petrol engine will be the most powerful and will be available with 7-speed DCT, iMT and manual gearbox. The 1.2 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine will be available with a manual gearbox and the 1.5 litre diesel engine will be available with manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox. The compact SUV is quite feature-rich, and sharp pricing is expected to make it very popular in the price sensitive Indian market. The Sonet will be the least priced SUV from Kia Motors for the Indian market.
