Kia Sonet is the latest entrant in the already competitive sub-4 meter SUV segment. Currently this segment is ruled by Maruti Brezza and Hyundai Venue. They share this space with cars like Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300 and Ford EcoSport in the segment. Kia will be launching the Sonet in the market next month and they have already started accepting bookings for the same. Kia Sonet has already become popular like Seltos and has started receiving good response from customers. Kia Sonet being the latest car in this segment is technologically advanced and here we have a video that shows how the car looks from outside and inside and what all features does it offer.
The video has been shared by Kia Motors India on their official youtube channel. The video starts with the exterior. Kia Sonet will be available in Tech Line and GT Line. Tech Line is the regular version with silver of chrome accents around the body whereas the GT Line gets red accents that make it look bit more sportier. Kia Sonet gets Kia’s signature Tiger Nose grille, all LED headlamps, heartbeat shaped LED DRL and projector type fog lamps on muscular front bumper. The lower part of the bumper gets a silver finished faux skid plate.

Coming to the side profile, it gets 16 inch sporty looking alloy wheels with red calipers on GT Line variant. The cladding over the wheel arches and the side of the car along with floating roof rail give it an SUV like character. The chrome handle bars, gloss black roof gives it a premium look as well. Moving to the rear, it gets all LED tail lamp with a reflector bar connecting both the lights. The rear bumper also looks muscular and has a gloss black as well as silver finish on the lower portion.
Moving inside, it has a good looking cabin with loads of features. It has multi function steering wheel. 10.25 inch touchscreen infotainment system, ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, UVO connect feature, auto-dimming IRVM, wireless charging, Bose speaker system, leatherette seats, rear AC vents, electric sunroof air purifier and so on.
It also offers safety features like front and rear parking sensors, rear parking camera, upto 6 airbags, Hill Start Assist, ABS, ESC, brake assist and vehicle stability management. Kia Sonet will be offered with a variety of engine options. It will get a 1.0 litre turbo petrol engine option with iMT, manual and 7-speed DCT gearbox. A 1.2 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with manual gearbox and a 1.5 litre diesel engine with manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox.
