In India, it is not uncommon to find people selling small items, cleaning cars, and even beggars at traffic signals. It is not just adults who are often seen engaging in such activities, but children too. There are cases where children are seen begging or even doing stunts at traffic signals to entertain people and earn money from them. Whether we should promote children by making them do such stunts or beg for money is a different discussion altogether. However, here we have a video where a person traveling in a car spots kids cleaning his car at a traffic signal. He invites them into his car and takes them out for dinner at a 5-star hotel.

The video has been shared by Kawaljeet Singh on his Instagram page. The video shows a bunch of kids cleaning the windows and windscreen of Kawaljeet Singh’s Chevrolet Cruze sedan while he was sitting in the rear seat. Kawaljeet lowers the window and talks to the kids who were cleaning his car. When he starts talking to them, he realizes that they were doing this work to earn money so that they can buy themselves dinner for the night.
This is actually a sad sight as most of the kids seen in the video were probably not over 10 years old. The owner then asks them about the location where they eat their dinner. It was actually a small shop that was down the road from where they were standing. The owner asks all the kids to get inside the car and offers them a ride to the hotel. However, there is a small twist to this story. Kawaljeet asks his driver to take the car to a 5-star hotel that was nearby.
The children were excited, and one of them can be seen asking Kawaljeet that the shop where they usually eat was left behind. The car was driven into the porch of a 5-star hotel, and the staff there invited the owner and the kids into the restaurant inside the hotel. The kids were extremely happy and excited as this was probably the first time they were seeing a 5-star hotel from the inside. Kawaljeet and the kids had their dinner at the expensive restaurant, and once they had filled their stomachs, they all left the hotel.
Kawaljeet had now arranged a Toyota Innova to drop the kids at the location from where they were picked. Kawaljeet Singh, who is a business, brand, and media consultant and political analyst, had posted this video on his Instagram page with a caption, “Share if you care. Stuck at a traffic light, kids were cleaning cars for food money near a 5-star hotel. Instead of just giving money, I invited them into my car. Their eyes widened as we ended up at the same five-star hotel for dinner – a first for them. Seated together, their happiness was real, and it got to me. Seeing them enjoy the fancy meal was touching. They kept thanking me a hundred times, and it made the whole experience deeply emotional. I felt grateful for being able to create such unexpected, heartwarming moments. Life’s beauty lies not just in personal victories but in sharing and making dreams come true for others.”
This was definitely a good gesture from the car owner as he offered the kids food instead of handing them money. Many followers who came across this video have appreciated the efforts made by Kawaljeet Singh.
