With monthly sales of about 6-7 thousand units, the Hyundai Creta is doing exceedingly well for the Korean carmaker. And while the waiting period might have been a concern for prospective buyers, the recently reported move to further increase the production is going to bring some relief. And if you don’t like the crossover SUV looks (essentially the dual-tone appearance, thanks to the black cladding on the sides) and want something that looks more at home among sedans and hatchbacks, there’s a new alternative. Coimbatore-based Kit Up Automotive modified a Hyundai Creta, which now not just looks cool on the outside but also gets a custom leather interior, too.
The changes on the outside include the body-colour option for the plastic cladding for a more uniform look, new 18-inch Momo alloy wheels, updated lights, and darkened taillamps. The interior gets custom Dakota leather, Piano Black trim, and a new audio/video entertainment system. The white car also gets a contrasting black (Piano Black) roof and spoiler.
The stock Creta is available in three engine options: 1.6-liter petrol, 1.4-liter diesel, and a 1.6-liter diesel. The latter is also available with an optional automatic gearbox. Prices start Rs 8.87 lakh, but for the custom Hyundai Creta, it’s best to contact Kit Up directly for the quote.
