The limited edition Lamborghini Huracan made a world debut yesterday and was also launched in India. The car was showcased at Geneva Motor Show earlier this year and costs Rs. 3.71 crore (ex-showroom, India). The car will have limited production and the production limit will be capped at only 250 units. Lamborghini gave Indian customers a 5-day window to book the limited production car.
The Avio edition is inspired the Italian airforce and receives visual updates on the inside and outside the car. The updates include grey and grey finished body parts of the car including the lower portion of the ORVMs, side sills, and front lip of the spoiler. There is a double stripe in white or grey that covers the roof and the front bonnet. The car also gets exclusive L63 logos on the door panels, where L stands for Lamborghini and 63 stands for the year in which the was founded. The logo also gets Italian tricolour placed between the number and the letter.
The interior of the Huracan Avio comes in black leather with a special Alcantara and a special L63 hand-embroidered logos are placed on both sides of the seats. The interior colors can be customized by the owner through Lamborghini’s Ad Personam program.
The car will be available in exclusive 5 colors, namely Grigio Falco with a pearlescent finish, Blu Grigio Nibbio, Grigio Vulcano and Verde Turbine. Interestingly, all the color names represent the air-force courses of Italian Air Force Academy. If a buyer wishes, the colors can be customised as per the buyer’s need too.
The special edition Avio does not get any mechanical changes. The car gets same naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10 engine that also powers the Huracan Coupe and Huracan Spyder. The engine produces a maximum of 602 BHP power and 560 Nm of maximum torque. It can reach a top speed of 325 km/h and can do 0-100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds.
