Kannada movie star Puneeth Rajkumar gifts wife Lamborghini Urus SUV on women’s day

Puneeth Rajkumar is a well established actor, singer, anchor and a producer in the Kannada movie industry. He is now in news for gifting his wife a very special gift on International Women’s day. The Kannada movie star thought gifting his wife an SUV. The SUV was none other than the Lamborghini Urus.

The Lamborghini Urus is one hell of an SUV. It is the first luxury SUV made by the brand and it has turned out be hit among buyers around the world. In India also it is selling like hot cakes. Puneeth Rajkumar’s wife used to drive a Jaguar XF luxury sedan. From a luxury sedan to world’s fastest SUV, she got quite a nice upgrade.

The colour they have chosen for their Urus is blue and Puneeth Rajkumar along with his wife can be seen taking delivery of the SUV from the showroom. They both seem to be very happy and excited about the car. Why not?? Its Lamborghini Urus after all!!.

Lamborghini Urus is a Completely Built Unit product and is imported straight from Italy. Lamborghini says that Urus is a Super Sports Utility Vehicle (SSUV) and it is one of the powerful SUVs in the world. The Urus uses a 4.0-litre Twin Turbocharged V8 engine.

It produces a massive 641 Bhp of the maximum power of a whopping 850 Nm of torque. Another feature that makes Urus special is the engine. It is first-ever turbocharged engine produced by Lamborghini as all the other vehicles are naturally aspirated ones. The Lamborghini Urus does 0-100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds, which is extremely quick for an SUV of this size. It can reach 200 km/h in 12.8 seconds and has a top speed of 305 km/h.

It’s a lot more practical than Lamborghini’s supercars, and this is a prime reason why the Urus is selling so well in India, a country whose road infrastructure is still not conducive for low ground clearance cars. We expect more movie stars and other super rich people in India to opt for the Urus rather than Lamborghini’s other supercars such as the Huracan and the Aventador.

The Lamborghini Urus competes with luxury SUVs like Bentley Bentayga and Rolls Royce Cullinan, super car manufacturer Ferrari has also confirmed that they will also be making their entry to the SUV territory soon. Puneeth Rajkumar has an exotic garage with cars like tje Audi Q7, BMW X6 and the Jaguar XF. He also drives a latest generation Range Rover Vogue. The latest addition to the garage Lamborghini Urus is priced at around Rs 3 crore in India.
