Made-in-India Jaguar F-Pace launched with a reduced price

Jaguar entered the SUV segment for the first time ever with the introduction of the F-Pace. The car was launched in October 2016 at a price of Rs. 68.4 lakh. The British brand owned by Tata Motors has announced a new made in India F-Pace with a starting price of Rs. 60.02 lakh.

The made-in-India model is the 2018 model and it is the sixth model from the Jaguar Land Rover product portfolio that is made in India. Jaguar Land Rover has a plant in Pune which was inaugurated in 2011. The plant also assembles the completely knocked down kits of Land Rover vehicles in India.

Rohit Suri, Managing Director & President, Jaguar Land Rover India Ltd (JLRIL), said:

“Since its launch in October last year, Jaguar F-PACE has captured hearts and minds of Jaguar fans as well as its distinguished & discerning customers spread across India. The launch of the locally manufactured F-PACE signifies another milestone in our continued commitment and efforts towards ‘Make in India’ policy of the Government of India.”

The Jaguar F-Pace is based on the iQ aluminium-intensive platform that strictly follows the Jaguar’s family design. The F-Pace features a large, prominent grille at the front with sleek headlamps. The F-Pace has a unique shape that gives it a distinct look. Jaguar markets the F-Pace as a performance SUV that has the DNA of sports car.

The car features a long list of equipment. The vehicle offers adaptive LED headlamps, activaty key, Wi-Fi hotspot and Pro Services and a 10.2-inch touch-sensitive infotainment screen. The F-Pace also gets rear recline seats, four-zone climate control, 380-watt surround sound system from Meridian.

Jaguar has started taking bookings and the deliveries will start at the end of this month. The F-Pace 2.0-litre I Diesel will also be available for online booking at www.findmeacar.in
