Madhuri Dixit and husband Dr. Shriram Nene spotted in a Ferrari 296 GTB worth Rs 6 crore [Video]

A few weeks ago, the husband of famous Bollywood actress, Dr Sriram Nene, was in the news for buying a humble set of wheels in the form of a Tata Nexon EV. Dr Nene bought this car to make a switch to electric mobility for his urban commute. However, in a more extravagant turn of events, Dr Nene and Madhuri Dixit were spotted in a Ferrari 296 GTB on the roads of Mumbai.

In a YouTube video uploaded by CS 12 Vlogs, both Dr Nene and Madhuri Dixit were seen in a black-coloured Ferrari 296 GTB, with the former behind its steering wheel. Various clips of both of them driving the Ferrari 296 GTB on the roads of Mumbai can be seen in the video. However, further investigations reveal that the 296 GTB in which both of them were seen happens to be registered in the name of Navnit Motors Private Limited, the authorized dealership of Ferrari in Mumbai. However, it is believed that Dr Nene bought this car from the dealership.

The 296 GTB is one of the latest offerings from Ferrari, which is gradually finding several homes across the country. This two-door, retractable hard-top convertible sports car from Ferrari is powered by a combination of a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V6 petrol engine and a 123 kW front-mounted electric motor. The combined power output of this powertrain is rated at 830 PS, which makes it one of the most powerful production sports cars on sale in the country right now. The Ferrari 296 GTB claims a top speed of over 330 kmph, while it can do a 0-100 kmph sprint in just 2.9 seconds.

Dr Nene recently bought a brand-new Tata Nexon EV. He said that he loves electric cars while taking the delivery of the car. Interestingly, Porsche also offers the Taycan in India, which is an electric supercar.

The family used to stay in the USA where he owned a few high-end sports cars including a Tesla and a couple of Porsches. When he shifted to India, he tweeted saying that there are no tracks and good roads in India while sharing a picture of a Porsche that he owned in the USA. Looks like finally, he has bought the Porsche in Mumbai, where he lives with the family.

A few months ago, Dr Nene also bought a Tata Nexon EV Dark Edition, a stark difference from the Ferrari 296 GTB. Unlike the two-door, fire-breathing Ferrari 296 GTB, the Tata Nexon is a much more affordable compact all-electric SUV, becoming the highest-selling all-electric vehicle. In addition to these two cars, Madhuri Dixit and her husband are also proud owners of a Porsche 911 Carrera and a Mercedes-Maybach S-Class.

It is to be noted that Dr Nene is an avid car enthusiast, who loves driving all the cars by himself, rather than being chauffeured in them. However, unlike Dr Nene, Madhuri Dixit is not seen much behind the steering wheel of their cars and is often spotted either being chauffeured in her cars or accompanied by Dr Nene.
