Mahindra Bolero is a very practical MUV that is popular among buyers from rural or semi-urban parts of the country. It is also popular for its simple and rugged looks that has not changed even after so many years of the launch. Mahindra updated the Bolero to meet the current emission and safety norms. The BS6 verison of the MUV had some cosmetic changes that differentiated it from the older version. Just like it does on any other vehicle from its line-up, Mahindra is offering genuine accessories for Bolero as well. Here we have a walkaround video that shows all the accessories that one could get with the all new Bolero.
The video has been uploaded by CarDirector on their YouTube channel. The video starts with the vlogger showing all the changes and the accessories on the BS6 Mahindra Bolero. The Bolero seen in the video is a top-end trim B6(O) version with accessories. The vlogger starts with the front grille which is different from the older version. The headlights are also revised slightly. The vlogger then shows an add on kit which is installed on the front bumper. This accessory gives it a butch look at the front. As this is top-end trim, it does come with fog lamps.
Moving to the side profile, the overall design of the Bolero remains boxy but, it now gets 15 inch alloy wheel which enhance the look of it. Bolero does not get alloy wheels even with the top-end variant but, one can buy it as an accessory if interested. The other accessory that is available with Mahindra Bolero is silver finished roof rail. At the rear, Mahindra is offering a roof mounted spoiler with the Bolero. Other than this, Bolero also also gets floor mats as accessory.
As mentioned above, the basic design of the Bolero remains the same as before. The B6(O) trim of Bolero gets clear lens tail lamp which is not available with the lower variants. Rear parking sensors are also installed on the bumper. Just like the exterior, interior of the Bolero is also simple looking. There are three rows of seat that can accommodate a maximum of 7 people in it.
The top-end trim gets all four power windows, central locking system and so on. It does not offer rear AC vents. it comes with two speakers and a simple music system. The dashboard looks simple with a digital instrument cluster and faux wooden inserts at places. Mahindra Bolero is still a strong seller in many markets and that is one of the reason why Mahindra is still producing it.
Mahindra Bolero is now powered by a BS6 complaint 1.5 litre diesel engine that generates 75 Hp and 210 Nm of peak torque. This engine is available with a 5-speed manual gearbox option only. Mahindra is also working on several new models which they will be launching in the market soon.
