Bolero to Scorpio: Mahindra SUVs selling at discounts in April 2019

Among India’s leading SUV manufacturers, Mahindra and Mahindra is offering good discounts on its range of cars this month. The company is currently working on the next generation model of the Thar, Scorpio and the XUV500, all of which will be launched after this year. Also in development is a new 2.0-litre diesel engine that’ll be BSVI compliant. As for the discount, almost all Mahindra vehicles have some discounts on their head except the XUV300. If you have been planning to buy a Mahindra vehicle anytime soon, here is a list of all the Mahindra vehicles with the discount schemes running on them.

KUV100

Max Discount Value: Rs. 73,000

Starting the list is the Mahindra KUV100, which is the most affordable vehicle in the company’s lineup. It will get a direct rival next year in the form of the Tata Hornbill micro SUV. As for the discounts on the KUV100 this month, the total discount value on it is Rs. 73,000. The breakdown goes like this – the K2 and K4 variants are getting a cash discount of Rs. 20,000 and Rs. 26,000 respectively. The K6 and K8 variants, on the other hand, are getting a bigger Rs. 40,000 cash discount. Apart from this, there is an exchange offer worth Rs. 29,000 along with a corporate bonus worth Rs. 4,000 on the vehicle this month.

TUV300

Max Discount Value: Rs. 54,500

Next in line is the Mahindra TUV300, which is a sub-4 meter SUV offering by the company. Rivalling the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and Tata Nexon among others, it is being offered with a maximum discount of Rs. 54,500 this April. The discount scheme includes a direct cashback worth Rs. 35,000 along with an additional exchange bonus of Rs. 15,000. Apart from this, Mahindra is also offering an additional Rs. 4,500 as a corporate discount on the SUV this month. The TUV300 will get a facelift this year, spy shots of which have already surfaced.

TUV300 Plus

Max Discount Value: Rs. 69,500

Being the bigger brother of the TUV300, the TUV300 Plus has a bigger discount over its head this month. The total discount value being offered on the TUV300 Plus is pegged at Rs. 69,500. The discount offer on the vehicle includes a cash discount of Rs. 40,000 along with an exchange bonus of Rs. 25,000. However, the cash discount is only applicable on the P4 variant. The exchange bonus, though, is applicable on all the variants. An additional Rs. 4,500 are being offered on the SUV this month in the form of corporate discount by the company.

Bolero Power Plus

Max Discount Value: Rs. 29,000

The Mahindra Bolero is among the oldest SUV names on offer in India. The rugged SUV is being offered with a total discount value of Rs. 29,000 this April, available on the Power Plus variant. Speaking of which, the discount offers include Rs. 15,000 worth of direct cashback along with Rs. 10,000 worth of exchange bonus. apart from this, the good old Bolero is being offered with an additional Rs. 4,000, given as a corporate bonus.

Thar

Max Discount Value: Rs. 7,000

The off-road specialist and the dream vehicle for many, the Mahindra Thar is being offered with a discount value of Rs. 7,000 this month. This is Rs. 1,000 more than the regular discount offer on the vehicle. The rugged utility vehicle is known for its off-road prowess and modification potential. The Thar will get a bigger and better model next year that will come with a new 2.0-litre diesel engine and a power output in the ballpark of 140 Bhp. As for the discounts, there is a corporate discount worth Rs. 7,000 running on the vehicle right now.

Marazzo

Max Discount Value: Rs. 15,000

The Mahindra Marazzo has proved to be a successful vehicle for Mahindra. Launched in September last year, sales of the MPV have gotten better with time. As of now, it has no direct rival in the segment save for the almost non-existent Renault Lodgy. However, the new Ertiga poses some challenge, although it is a segment lower than it. Speaking of the discount offers on the MPV this month, the Marazzo is being offered with an exchange bonus worth Rs. 15,000 this April.

Scorpio

Max Discount Value: Rs. 55,000

The good old rugged Scorpio is being offered with discounts up to Rs. 55,000 this month. Before we begin the discount breakdown, note that all the offers are available only with the S5, S9, and S11 variants. The discount scheme offered on the Scorpio includes Rs. 25,000 cash discount as well as exchange bonus of Rs. 25,000. Apart from this, Mahindra is also offering an additional Rs. 5,000 in the form of a corporate discount on the Scorpio this April.

XUV500

Max Discount Value: Rs. 59,000

The Mahindra XUV500 is another SUV that will get a generation update next year along with the Scorpio and the Thar. Apart from more space and better features, it will get a new 2.0-litre engine that will be BSVI compliant. As for the discount schemes running on the vehicle this month, the XUV500 is being offered with a total discount of Rs. 59,000. The discount scheme includes a direct cashback worth Rs. 25,000 apart from an exchange bonus valued at Rs. 25,000. Additionally, the company is also offering a corporate discount of Rs. 9,000 on the car currently.
