Mahindra launches Scorpio Adventure edition

Mahindra and Mahindra has silently launched the Limited Edition of the Scorpio in the market. Known as the Scorpio Adventure, the model has been relaunched in the market. The Scorpio Adventure will be produced in limited number but there has not been a word on how many units will be produced. The limited edition is available in two variants, 4X2 and 4X4. The 4X2 variant is priced at Rs. 13.10 lakh, while the 4X4 variant gets a price tag of Rs. 14.20 lakh, both ex-showroom, Delhi.

The Scorpio Adventure is based on the top-of-the-line S10 trim and it comes with a host of new additions. There is dual-tone body colour with plastic cladding on the bumpers. To differentiate from the regular Scorpio, Mahindra has added new graphics and decals on the body of the vehicle.The limited edition model also comes with gunmetal finish, 17-inch alloy wheels. There are red painted brake callipers to highlight the black alloys even more. Other additions include smoked tail lamps, turn indicators on the ORVMs and reversing camera.

There has been no addition to the features.

Mechanically, the Scorpio remains same. There is a 2.2-litre mHawk turbocharged diesel unit that develops a maximum power of 120 BHP and a maximum torque of 280 Nm. The engine gets mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

Mahindra is also working on the facelift Scorpio getaway, the pick-up version of the SUV. The car has been caught on camera numerous times already but the launch date has not been revealed yet.
