Nothing has changed in the car under the hood. It uses the same 1.5 litre, four cylinder diesel engine that generates 121 Bhp and 300 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a manual gearbox. Mahindra does not offer an automatic transmission with Marazzo at the moment but, an AMT gearbox option with diesel engine version is expected to be launched in future. Apart from that, Mahindra might also introduce a 1.5 litre turbo petrol engine in Marazzo.

It will the same engine from mStallion series that was launched at the Auto Expo earlier this year. The engine will generate a maximum of 160 Bhp and 280 Nm torque. This petrol engine will be available with a manual and an automatic gearbox option as well. The Marazzo is a MPV that slots in between the Maruti Ertiga and the Toyota Innova Crysta in terms of pricing. It’s almost as large as the Innova Crysta while being a lot cheaper.
