5 ways the all-new Mahindra Scorpio SUV could look like

Mahindra has started testing the all-new Scorpio and the SUV has been spotted on test a couple of times already. Though the SUV has not been caught without camouflage till now, the spy shots give us a good idea of how will it look like in production. The new Scorpio will be larger in dimension owing to the new chassis it is being built upon. If you are getting too curious thinking about how the new Scorpio will look like, here are 5 renders which show its possible design.

Elegantly Brute

First on the list is our very own render, made by our in-house graphics wizard Vipin Vathoopan. This SUV in this render sports a much more muscular design than the current model. It gets the familiar Mahindra grille, a butch looking stance and black lower body cladding, all of which comes together to give this SUV a mean look. Talking about the next generation Mahindra Scorpio, the SUV will get a newly developed 2.0-litre engine by Mahindra that will also be used on the new generation Thar and XUV500.

Realistic

You might have guessed why we decided to call this as ‘Realistic’. If not, well, it looks the most realistic of the lot. Simple. Though this render only shows the front end of the upcoming Mahindra Scorpio, it looks pretty neat. One might even believe that this is how the new Scorpio would look like if the watermarks are removed. The grille design has been kept typically Mahindra while the bumper seems to be designed fresh. The headlamps look similar to the current model but have been tweaked to look more interesting.

Butch People mover

Looking at the third possible design direction Mahindra may take for the Scorpio, we can say that the next generation of the popular SUV will certainly look good. This render is based on the side profile spy shot seen on the top right corner of the image. The tail lamps are similar to the ones used on the current generation model. Looking at it from the side, it sure looks grown up from the current model. REst of the magic is done by those oh-so-cool rims which are unexpected to be found on the production-spec SUV.

The Grand Successor

Honestly saying, we named this one ‘The Grand Successor’ because it looked somewhat majestical from its side profile. We guess you are nodding your head while reading this because of the clean and bold body lines flowing across the SUV in this render, giving it a grand demeanour. The size of the vehicles has been increased while the C pillar gets an XUV500 like kink. It runs on good looking rims which add to the overall appeal.

Sporty

We admit that this one is not the best-made render of the Scorpio amongst the others here. However, the point here is to show the possible design of the new Scorpio and not photoshop skills, which is the reason this one qualifies to be here. Talking about the render, it shows a more sporty design direction and it kinds of suits the Scorpio. The forward leaning stance of this Scorpio here gives it a touch of aggressiveness while the front end design adds to it. Adding to the overall aesthetics are those multispoke rims that look great.
