Mahindra Scorpio N digitally rendered in an all-black avatar

Mahindra recently unveiled the teaser images and video of the all-new generation of Scorpio, which is going to be called Scorpio-N. While the SUV is all set to arrive in a full-fledged way on 27th June, it has already created a storm on the web world, as one of the most trending topics on the internet. The new Mahindra Scorpio-N will be arriving in a month to go, though several people have started imagining how the new Scorpio will look in customized avatars. One such digital rendering is this rugged-looking black edition of the new Scorpio-N.

This digital rendering has been created by ‘SRK Designs’, the creation of which is shown through a YouTube video. The rendering starts with the replacement of diamond-cut alloy wheels and on-road tyres with rugged-looking off-road tyres over multi-spoke Y-themed black alloy wheels.

Then, the front bumper is revised with a more heavy-duty black-coloured front bumper with housings on its corners. These housings have been integrated with auxiliary lamps and red-coloured tow hooks. This bumper also gets a revised longer skid plate and reprofiled license plate housing.

There is a slight change to the front grille of this new Mahindra Scorpio-N as well, where the chrome-finished vertical slats and the upper strip of grille have been given a gloss-black treatment. Even the fog lamp surrounds get a gloss-black touch.

Coming to the side profile, the wheel arch mouldings over both front and rear wheels have grown in size, which makes it look more butch than the original version of the SUV with slim mouldings. The all-black treatment is further carried out on the thick roof rails and wraparound chrome garnish on the window beltline. Then comes the new paint dark-looking paint job in place of the green shade of the original image, with the new shade looking like a gloss shade of black.

While these changes have already started making the new Mahindra Scorpio-N look dope, the editor hasn’t stopped at this point. He further enhances the look of the SUV by adding a roof-mounted carrier over the roof rails. This carrier also gets a hard-top box over it and a horizontal array of white LEDs on its frontal part. All-in-all, this heavy-duty roof carrier serves as the icing on the cake.

Mahindra will be launching the new Scorpio-N officially on June 27th. This new version of the SUV will come with both 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines, with two transmission choices of a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. Even an optional four-wheel-drive variant will be on offer, apart from the standard rear-wheel-drive variants.
