Mahindra Scorpio-N to get 4 new features

The country’s largest utility vehicle manufacturer, Mahindra Automotive, recently unveiled a few new vehicles during its annual Independence Day event on 15th August. Of these new vehicles shown, one of the most talked-about was the brand’s all-new Global Pik Up 4×4 SUV. This model has been based on the already popular Mahindra Scorpio-N and could be launched in India in 2026. Now, it has been reported that before that happens, four of this concept vehicle’s features could be making their way into the already on-sale Scorpio-N in the country.

5G Connectivity

The first of these four features will be 5G connectivity. This will be one of the most crucial updates to the list of features of the Mahindra Scorpio-N, as this essential feature will enable the two upcoming features on this list. Currently, the Mahindra Scorpio-N comes equipped with an eSIM for the Mahindra Adrenox connected car application. With an update to 5G network, the internet speed of this SUV will become faster. The SUV will also get a newer generation of the connected car technology and will provide more detailed insights and help in enhancing driver assistance.

Level 2 ADAS

The next feature on this list, which will be added to this popular SUV, will be ADAS. Currently, the only car in the Mahindra lineup to get this advanced driving feature is the XUV700, but with the update taken from the Mahindra Global Pik Up, the Scorpio-N could get the same. Most likely, the Scorpio-N will come equipped with a Level 2 ADAS, like the XUV700. It could get popular ADAS features like Lane Departure Warning, Traffic Sign Recognition, High Beam Assist, and Lane Keep Assist, along with a few others.

Semi automatic parking

The third feature on this list, which will be taken from the Mahindra Global Pik Up and added to the Scorpio-N, will be the convenience feature of semi-automatic parking. This feature, which is seen mostly on high-end cars, enables the car to use its external cameras to park itself into tight parking spots. This feature will be useful in the huge Global Pik Up, as it will be around 5 meters in length. This feature will also become useful in the Scorpio-N, as it is also not a small car either.

Harman Kardon 16-speaker music system

Last but not least, the company will be offering a newly designed 16-speaker music system, which it will create with the help of its newly cemented partnership with Harman Kardon on its Global Pik Up SUV. Most likely, this same system will also be making its way to the Scorpio-N as well. This new high-end music system will also come equipped with Dolby Atmos and vehicle noise cancellation. The company has also recently partnered up with legendary Indian musician and composer AR Rahman, and he will be working with the company to create and develop new sounds that will be used by the brand in its range of cars. These new sounds will also be added to the updated Mahindra Scorpio-N in the coming period.
