Mahindra Scorpio-N Z4: SUV modified with all-black treatment looks super butch [Video]

The country’s largest utility vehicle manufacturer Mahindra and Mahindra recently announced that they currently have over 1.19 lakh bookings for the Scorpio Classic and Scorpio-N combined. The company revealed that its Z4 variant of the Scorpio-N is one of the most demanded variants and has a waiting period of around 22-23 months. Now for those wondering this is the most value-for-money variant in the lineup and those who have got this vehicle have even started modifying it. Recently a video of a Scorpio-N completely murdered out with black elements has surfaced online

The video of the modified Scorpio-N Z4 was uploaded on YouTube by Garage 8427. In the cinematic shoot of this Mafia spec SUV, we can note that it comes equipped with a ton of unique modifications that make it look apart from the rest of the Scorpio-N Z4s on the road. For starters, the car gets a complete blackout. At the front, the grille of the SUV in the standard Z4 variant from the factory comes in brushed silver finish has been painted in high gloss black. Additionally the lower portion of the bumper that comes in matt black has also been painted to match the Napoli black color of the SUV.

Furthermore in previous video the owner of this SUV revealed that they have added flashing lights to the front and are placed on the grille. He mentioned that he is aware that these lights are illegal but he added that they have installed them just to take pictures. Furthermore, the owner told that they added 130 watts white LED bulbs to the headlights and the fog lights as well.

Moving on to side profile of the SUV in this video, it also gets a blackout and like the front. The window moldings and claddings have also been painted in the same Napoli black. Furthermore the side steps have also been painted to match the theme. Meanwhile at the rear the as well, everything have been dechromed to achieve the murdered out look. The logos of the Scorpio-N and Mahindra have been wrapped in dark chrome.

The video also shows the interior of the SUV which in the prior video the owner mentioned that the entire interior has been reupholstered with leather and many small details have been added. From the video we can note that the surrounds of the infotainment screen, air vents and gearbox and window switches all have been hydro dipped in black, carbon fiber or red colors. Additionally the entire headliner has also been changed and now gets a starry light headliner that we mostly see in the much more expensive Rolls Royce luxury vehicles.

The Scorpio-N in the video is the automatic diesel variants. The Mahindra Scorpio-N Z4 is available with both a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine and a 2.2-litre diesel engine options. The petrol mill in the Scorpio-N Z4 generates a maximum power of 203 horsepower and 370 Nm of torque, while the diesel engine offers 175 bhp and 370 Nm of torque. As for the transmission options, the Z4 variant gets a choice between a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission. The variant also gets an option of a four-wheel-drive system in the diesel-manual iteration of the SUV.
