Mahindra Scorpio-N Z6 deliveries start: Detailed walk around shows all features [Video]

Mahindra has started selling the Scorpio-N in India by prioritizing delivery of the top-spec Z8 and Z8L variants of the SUV. However, other variants of the Mahindra Scorpio-N are also being delivered, including the mid-spec Z6 variant. The Z6 variant of the Scorpio-N, which is available only with the 2.2-litre diesel engine, has started to reach dealer stockyards across the country. A YouTube video from the channel ‘The Car Show’ highlights the features of the Scorpio-N Z6, which are described below.

In the video, the presenter showcases all the exterior and interior features of the Scorpio-N Z6 variant. Starting from the exterior, the Scorpio-N Z6 misses out on LED headlamps, DRLs, and fog lamps. Instead, this variant gets conventional halogen headlamps. The Z6 variant gets a chrome grille with vertical slats and a silver skid plate below the front bumper.

The side profile of the Mahindra Scorpio-N Z6 features steel wheels with wheel caps instead of alloy wheels. However, it does get roof rails for the SUV look and utility. The rear profile gets LED inserts in the tail lamps, a rear wiper for the windscreen, a roof-mounted spoiler, and a shark fin antenna.

The interior of the Scorpio-N Z6 has the same dual-tone black and brown upholstery, but it is not finished in leather. The cabin of this variant looks well-equipped with features such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, auto AC, a sunroof, and a 7-inch MID screen in the instrument console. This variant further gets drive modes, connected car tech, cruise control, rear AC vents, and electrically-adjustable rearview mirrors.

The safety features in this variant include dual front airbags, ABS, reverse parking sensors, ESC, hill hold control, and hill descent control. However, this particular variant of the Scorpio-N still does not get many features such as a four-wheel drive system, leather upholstery, push start-stop button, power foldability for rearview mirrors, dual-zone functionality for auto AC, powered driver’s seat, and wireless charging.

As mentioned above, the Mahindra Scorpio-N’s Z6 variant is solely available with the 2.2-litre diesel engine, which produces 175 bhp of maximum power. This variant can be had either with the 6-speed manual or the 6-speed automatic transmission. Priced at Rs 15.64 lakh for the manual and Rs 17.60 lakh for the automatic, the Scorpio-N Z6 is now available for delivery.
