Mahindra is selling a range of SUVs in India at November discounts. Here’s a quick walkthrough about what’s on the table.
KUV100 NXT
Rs. 24,000
The KUV100 NXT, which was just launched last month, is already selling at a discount. Mahindra dealers are offering about Rs. 24,000 (Rs. 20,000 exchange bonus and Rs. 4,000 corporate discount) off on certain variants of this ‘micro SUV’.
The vehicle is offered with 1.2 liter-3 cylinder petrol and turbo diesel engines. A front wheel drive layout and a five speed manual gearbox are standard. Mahindra will soon offer an AMT option on the KUV. Prices start from 4.39 lakhs, ex-showroom Delhi.
TUV300
Rs. 45,000
The TUV300, a sub-4 meter compact SUV based on a ladder frame, is coming under higher pressure with a slew of new launches in the segment. The SUV is now being sold at a discount of about Rs. 45,000 (Rs. 20,000 cash discount+Rs. 20,000 exchange bonus and Rs. 5,000 corporate discount.
The TUV300 competes with the Ford EcoSport, Maruti Vitara Brezza and the Tata Nexon. The TUV gets a 1.5 liter twin turbo diesel engine (98.6 Bhp-240 Nm) with 5 speed manual and AMT options. TUV300 prices start from 7.58 lakhs.
Nuvosport
Rs. 53,000
The Nuvosport is a similar to the TUV300 in terms of engine, gearbox and chassis. The vehicle also offers a 7 seat layout like the TUV300. However, styling is different. The Nuvosport is a slow seller, and to push sales, Mahindra is offering a 53,000 rupee discount (28,000 cash + 20,000 exchange bonus + 5,000 corporate discount) on the SUV. The vehicle’s prices start from 7.6 lakh rupees, ex-showroom Delhi.
Bolero
Rs. 22,000
Mahindra is selling the sub-4 meter version of the Bolero – called the Power Plus, at a 22,000 rupee discount (Rs. 7,000 cash + Rs. 10,000 exchange bonus and Rs. 5,000 corporate discount). The Power Plus variant uses a 1.5 liter turbo diesel engine that makes 70 Bhp and 195 Nm. A five speed manual gearbox and a rear wheel drive layout are standard. The MUV starts from Rs. 7.1 lakhs.
Scorpio
Rs. 57,500
The facelifted Scorpio will launch tomorrow, and the outgoing version is now available at hefty discounts of upto Rs. 57,500 (Rs. 37,000 cash discount + Rs. 25,000 exchange bonus + Rs. 5,500 corporate discount). The Scorpio is a seven seater available with 3 turbodiesel engine options – a 2.5 liter M2DICR (75 Bhp-200 Nm), a 2 liter mHawk (120 Bhp-280 Nm) and a 2.2 liter mHawk (120 Bhp-280 Nm). Both engines get 5 speed manual gearboxes. The smaller engine also gets a four wheel drive transfer case option. Prices of the Scorpio start from Rs. 9.93 lakhs.
XUV500

The flagship Mahindra XUV is seeing competition from two fronts – the Jeep Compass and the Tata Hexa. To keep the XUV500 attractive, Mahindra has not only introduced new variants but is also offering sizeable discounts. The XUV500 is the highest discounted Mahindra currently, with offers adding up to Rs. 65,000 off (Rs. 40,000 cash + Rs. 15,000 exchange + Rs. 10,000 corporate discount). The XUV is powered by a 2.2 liter turbodiesel engine (2 liters for the NCR) that makes 140 Bhp-330 Nm. Front wheel drive and all wheel drive options are available, and so are 6 speed manual and automatic gearboxes. Prices of this crossover start from 12.65 lakh rupees.
