The Mahindra Thar is a lifestyle off-roader from India’s largest utility vehicle manufacturer. It is currently one of the most sought-after cars. To increase demand for this SUV even further, the company recently introduced two new colors: Everest White and Blazing Bronze. Initially, these colors were only offered with the 4X2 variants of the SUV. However, the company has now started dispatching the top-of-the-line 4X4 variants with these colors as well. Recently, a video of a 4X4 Thar finished in Everest White surfaced on the internet.
The Car Show has shared the video of the Mahindra Thar 4X4 finished in Everest White on their YouTube channel. The video starts with an exterior walkaround of the car, and the presenter mentions that the unique thing about this particular Thar is the mHawk 130 badging on the left front side, denoting that it is the 2.2 diesel engined model. He also moves to the rear right of the car and shows the 4×4 badge, as well as a glimpse of the interior.

After the introduction, the presenter starts a detailed walkaround of the car at the front and shows the front fascia of the SUV. He mentions that in the 2023 model year, the front fascia remains the same and gets the same grille, Mahindra badge, and halogen headlamps. He then shows the LED DRLs and turn indicators. He also adds that the car still gets the same matte black front bumper with two fog lamps on the lower section.
Moving on, he shows the side profile of the car and mentions that the two-tone look on the Thar, with the contrast of black and Everest white, looks amazing. He adds that Mahindra offers 18-inch alloy wheels finished in gunmetal grey color from the factory. However, if Mahindra had offered them in black, they would have looked even better. The presenter then moves to the rear of the SUV and shows the automatic badging and the side-opening door along with the top-opening glass.
He adds a point that if someone tries to close the door first and the glass second, there are chances that the glass would break. So, he advises owners to first close the rear window and then close the door. He then moves on to the interior of the car and shows that the model comes well-equipped with all the necessary features, and the interior looks the same as all the other Thar models. Towards the end, he mentions that the Thar is offered with three engine options, which include two diesel engine options and a petrol option.
The diesel options include a 1.5-liter and a 2.2-liter engine, meanwhile the petrol unit is a 2.0-liter. He adds that the 1.5-liter diesel engine is only available with the 4X2 configuration, while the 2.2-liter diesel and 2.0-liter petrol come with the 4X4 configuration. The 2.0-liter petrol motor also comes with the 4X2 configuration. He adds that in terms of pricing the car in the video which is the diesel LX (O) variant costs Rs 16.77 lakh in Chandigarh.
