Other notable changes to the front fascia include new LED headlamps, LED DRLs on the fenders, an aluminium engine guard finished in black, off-road spec bumper fitted with projector fog lamps from Bimbra 4X4 (Off-road modification experts based out of Gurgaon, Haryana) and more.
The presenter explains that all the modifications carried out in the Thar are done from various sources by choosing the best of the best. Towards the sides, the Thar is fitted with massive 20-inch Fuel Off-Road wheels shod with Radar Renegade R/T+ (Rugged Terrain) 33X12.50R20LT off-road spec rubber. The 20-inch Fuel wheels are finished in Militia Bronze colour with Matt Black finish in the centre and according to the presenter, the total cost of the alloy wheel is close to Rs. 5 lakh. At the rear, the Thar gets new LED dynamic tail lamps and these are smoked units to go well with the vehicle’s overall appearance.
Inside the cabin, the Sarge Green colour theme is continued to the interiors. The door pad gets a green soft touch leather finish in a special texture with contrast yellow stitching. A similar sort of treatment is continued on the seat covers and front as well as rear armrests. The AC vent design gets an altogether different finish, matching the fins of the propeller of an aircraft.
