The customization job has been done by IDE Autoworks. The pictures of the Thar have been shared on the Instagram page of the IDE Autoworks. The SUV has gone through some modification and it does look menacing and very appealing.  The modifications will help in making this Thar stand out from the crowd.

The whole body of the Thar has been wrapped in unique Satin Black colour, it is a matte colour that enhances the body lines even more. Up-front, the modified Thar is using an off-road spec bumper so it is made up of metal. This allows the vehicle to take up a beating while off-roading. The bumper protects the rest of the SUV. There are also fog lamps integrated into the bumper and it also comes with tow hooks finished in bright red. It seems like Thar is also using after-market LED headlamps instead of a traditional halogen setup.

All the badges from the Thar have been removed which gives a very understated look to the SUV. While the 18-inch alloys are the same as the regular Thar, the alloys are wrapped in wider and larger off-road spec tyres. The pricing of the wrap is not mentioned by the shop. The costs of the wraps can start at Rs. 30,000 and go all way up to lakhs of rupees. It all depends on the quality of the wrap that the shop is using.

The benefit of wraps is that it is easy to apply and can change the look of the vehicle drastically. Even if the wraps get damaged because of something or off-roading, the owner can remove it easily and the original body paint of the vehicle would stay intact. There are higher chances of damaging the paint from branches and bushes while off-roading so a wrap seems like a good option.
