Mahindra TUV300 Facelift launched in India at Rs 8.38 lakh

Mahindra has officially launched the facelifted version of the TUV300 in the Indian market. The mid-life update on the sub-4m compact SUV has been released to keep it fresh in the market for the coming few years. The base variant of facelifted TUV300 is priced at Rs 8.38 lakh, ex-showroom, Mumbai. The price of the higher variants is not known.

The facelifted version of the TUV300 gets quite a few changes that make it look different from the previous model. The most eye-catchy update in the new TUV300 is the front grille that has been updated thoroughly. The new grille is much more pronounced and adds an aggressive look to the vehicle. The new piano black grille at the front gets newly designed headlamps with integrated DRL. However, the shape of the headlamps remain the same, only the design gets an update. The previous version of the TUV300 did not offer DRL. The grille at the front also gets subtle chrome inserts that make it look attractive too.

From the side, the TUV300 remains identical except for the updated body cladding. However, at the rear, it now gets new X-shaped metallic grey spare wheel cover. Apart from the front-end, everything else in the TUV300 remains similar to the outgoing model.

On the inside, the design of the TUV300 gets an update too. It now gets silver accents on the dashboard that adds a much more premium look and feel to the car. Other features like a touchscreen infotainment system with GPS, static bending headlamps, reverse parking camera and micro-hybrid technology is carried over from the last version of the car.

The new TUV300 facelift remains powered by the same mHawk100 engine. It generates a maximum power of 100 Bhp and a peak torque of 240 Nm. The car gets a choice between AMT and manual transmission. The TUV300 offers dual airbags, ABS+EBD as safety features.

The new TUV300 is available in 7 colours with two new colours added to the 2019 version. It gets Highway Red and Mystic Copper as new options while the older colour options like stylish dual tone Red + Black / Silver + Black, Bold Black, Majestic Silver and Pearl White remain the same. The TUV is available in T4+, T6+, T8, T10 and a new T10(O) variants. The new top-end variant offers leatherette seats with lumbar support.
