A test mule of the Mahindra Verito facelift was spotted in Nashik. The test car had its front and rear bumper covered hinting that there will be cosmetic changes in those areas.
Expect the upcoming Verito facelift to have a refreshed front bumper with a prominent chrome strip and new fog lamp housing. It will also likely get roof rails, blacked-out B-pillars and ORVMs with new mounts. The rear of the Verito facelift will likely get a redesigned boot door, revamped tail lamp cluster and a rear bumper integrated number plate.

There is no information whether Mahindra has updated the interiors. However, it we believe that there won’t be any changes in the mechanicals such as engine specifications of the Verito facelift.
At present, Mahindra offers the Verito powered by a 1.5-litre dCI engine that churns out 65 Bhp of power and 160 Nm of torque and has a claimed mileage of 21.03 Kmpl. The Verito petrol is powered by 1.4-litre motor that puts out 75 Bhp of power and 110 Nm of torque.

The Verito is a spacious car and three passengers at the rear can sit without rubbing their shoulders. This makes the Verito a smart choice among buyers looking for entry-level sedan with both cabin and luggage space. Read more: Upcoming launches from Mahindra
The Verito is priced in the range of Rs. 5.19 lakh – Rs. 6.94 lakh. The Verito facelift may be priced marginally higher than that of the present model. There were expectations that Mahindra would launch the Verito compact sedan, which would be a sub-four meter car. But now it seems that if the Verito compact sedan is launched it will likely be in March 2013.
Hence, expect the Verito compact sedan to carry over the updates expected in the upcoming Verito facelift version.
