Mahindra is one of the largest utility vehicle manufacturer in the country and has wide range of vehicle in its line up. Like other manufacturers, Mahindra is also working on updating their vehicles to meet the upcoming BS6 emission norms. Mahindra had launched BS6 version of Mahindra XUV300 Petrol some time back. BS6 version of the popular MUV Bolero has also started reaching dealerships across the country. Coming back to XUV300, Mahindra will be launching the diesel BS6 version of the compact SUV in the days to come. Even before the official launch, prices for the BS6 diesel Mahindra XUV300 has been leaked online.
According to a report on Team-Bhp, Mahindra will be launching the XUV300 BS6 with a slight increase in price in comparison to the BS4 versions. The price for the upcoming BS6 Mahindra XUV300 is now starts at Rs 8,69,130 and goes up till Rs 12,69, 001, all- prices are ex-showroom. The BS4 version was priced at Rs 8,69,000 and went up up to Rs 12,69,000 ex-showroom.

In comparison to the other manufacturer who had updated their models to meet the emission norms, Mahindra has done a good job by keeping the price of the BS6 diesel model similar to that of the BS4 ones. Mahindra XUV300 is one of the popular compact SUV is the segment and it competes with cars like Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon and Ford EcoSport. Recently Mahindra XUV300 received a 5-star rating at the Global NCAP crash test which made it the safest car in the sub-4 meter compact SUV segment.
The prices mentioned above are leaked before the launch and the official launch of the BS6 diesel XUV300 will be done very shortly. Mahindra XUV300 is available with both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol engine is a 1.2 litre turbo charged unit that generates 110 Bhp and 200 Nm of torque. The 1.5 litre turbo diesel engine generates 115 Bhp and 300 Nm of peak torque. Mahindra will also be launching a more powerful version of XUV300 which will be powered by a 1.2 litre turbocharged petrol engine from mStallion series. The more powerful version of the XUV300 will be branded Sportz, and will be the top-of-the-line model in the petrol line up.
