Mad Men
This is a brilliantly modified Mahindra XUV500 by Motormind. It gets various upgrades including a new bumper with integrated lamps, roof mounted lamps, and even modified headlamps with LED elements inside. This SUV has been thoroughly updated with trapezoidal exhaust tips integrated into the bumper and a new matte black wrap on the body.
Golden age
Golden cars are quite a fashion in the middle-east where rich Arabs even gold plate their vehicles. In India, a few people have tried the gold wrap on their vehicles and this XUV500 is one of them. The gold vinyl on the body with the contrasting matte black wrap on the boot lid and the roof makes it a pretty amazing to look at.
Aggressive
This one is straight from the land of modifications – Kerala. The SUV gets an aggressive stance thanks to the aftermarket alloy wheels and low profile tyres that are mostly seen in the sedans and the hatchbacks. The XUV500 also gets an aftermarket bullbar with integrated lights in it. There are four auxiliary lamps mounted on the top, giving it a rugged look and working at night to light up the streets.
Mad Men-II
This is a kit made by customising house, Motormind and it makes the XUV look extremely fabulous. The customisation kit a number of products to the XUV500. It gets a customised front bumper with integrated LED DRLs, a new grille and a hood scoop. To give it a wide look, the kit also includes flared wheel arches with wider tyres. There are roof mounted lights, matte black alloy wheels, a custom rear bumper with a diffuser and a rear spoiler. The kit costs around Rs. 1.6 lakh but the parts can be bought individually too.
DC lounge
The Mahindra XUV500 is an extremely popular SUV in the Indian market. Mahindra launched a facelift version of the model recently and it gets a luxurious trim with leather seats, dashboard and door trims. DC Design modified a pre-facelift XUV500 with the plushest interior. The lounge DC XUV500 gets captain seats in the rear and extra legroom after removing the third-row seats. It gets a personal entertainment screen, wooden inserts and reclining seats that are as comfortable as a sofa. The LED lamps and ambient lighting makes the interior even more premium and luxurious. On the outside, the grille and the bumper have been changed.
Fresh face
The older-generation XUV500 came with the leopard-claw design grille. It the 7-slat grille was plastered on a mesh type background. This XUV500 gets rid the stock grille to get a wide mesh-tyre grille up front. The front design looks very simple yet powerful with the upgrade.
Half-wrap
This Mahindra XUV 500 looks unique with its partial wrap job. The red coloured XUV500 gets a matte black wrap on the bonnet, front grille and the upper part of the bumper. The wrap continues on the roof and the pillars of the SUV. It even gets aftermarket tyres that are wider than the body of the XUV500.
Super XUV500
Mahindra XUV500 also participates in the rallies and the Super XUV500 is the official entrant from Mahindra. The SUV gets the superb racing seats, roll cage, and power upgrades. The Super XUV500 gets a new free flow air filter and free flow exhaust system. There is also a new ECU with a tuning box. The suspension has been upgraded too. The official power figures have not been made public.
