Mahindra XUV700 got launched in the market earlier this month. The SUV has started arriving at the dealership but, officially delveries for the same has not started. Mahindra has started accepting bookings and because of the aggressive pricing, XUV700 is attracting lot of queries. The XUV700 is the flagship model from Mahindra and is a 7-seater SUV. We have seen several videos with the XUV700 online but, how comfortable is XUV700 actually and how does it perform with all 7 seats occupied? Here we have a video that tries to find out the same.
The video has been uploaded by Power On Wheel on their YouTube channel. The video starts with YouTube introducing 7 people in his video. He then explains the plan for the video. He chose 7 people in a way that they can comfortably sit inside the new XUV700.

This experiment or test was done in order to find out how the SUV will perform with all seven passengers in the car. Vlogger first tumbles down the second row seat making way for two people to get into the third row. After that three people sit in the second row and at the first vlogger and another person sits in the co-passenger seat.
After everyone sat on their seats, vlogger starts driving the car and asks third row passenger about the comfort. They respond by saying that they are sitting comfortably. Third row seats in any SUVs of this segment are actually not built for adults. Adults can sit on those seats for short drives but, in long drives they’ll find it difficult. Vlogger mentions that he chose people who were physically not well built for this experiment and that is why they are sitting comfortably at the moment.
In second row also there were three people and they were sitting comfortably. There was ample amount of legroom, shoulder room and headroom available. The co-passenger sitting in the car said, he feels very comfortable and it offers him good support. He has adjusted the car according to his comfort and there is still space left for second row passenger.
Vlogger then talks about the drive and comfort of the SUV. He said, the 2.2 litre turbocharged diesel engine on the XUV700 feels under stressed. Even with 7-passengers in the car, the car is doing 70-80 kmph speed just under 2,000 RPMs. It is higher when the car is driven alone but, the engine is performing well and does not feel under lot of pressure. In city driving conditions the car performing pretty well too. vlogger was very impressed with suspension setup. It is in fact one of the best setup in any Mahindra cars till date.
The car driven in the video is the top-end diesel variant which comes with several drive modes. He did not engage any of the modes and was driving it in default setting to analyse the performance. Mahindra XUV700 diesel automatic generates 185 Ps and 450 Nm of peak torque. The car comes with several segment first features like ADAS. It is the only SUV in the segment that offers AWD as an option with top-end diesel variant.
