The all-new Mahindra XUV700 gets both petrol and diesel engine options. Both the engine options are the most powerful in the segment. The 2.0-litre mStallion petrol engine produces a maximum power of 200 PS and a peak torque of 380 Nm. The engine gets a six-speed manual gearbox and a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission as well.

The diesel variants come with the tried and tested 2.2-litre mHawk diesel unit. The most powerful variants will churn maximum power of 185 Bhp and peak torque of 450 Nm. The lower variants will get the same engine but with a 155 Bhp and 360 Nm set-up. Mahindra offers the AWD system as an option with the higher trims. The XUV700 is the only vehicle in the segment to get AWD.

When it comes to features, the XUV700 remains way ahead of its competitors. The vehicle gets a long list of features including two 10.25-inch screens on the dashboard. These screens work as the infotainment system and instrument cluster. There is also the largest panoramic sunroof in the segment and features like dual-zone automatic climate control system, air purifier, leatherette seats, all-LED headlamps with boosters, wireless phone charger and more. Mahindra has added a 12-speaker system from Sony.
