Mahindra XUV700 deliveries to start this month: Hundreds of SUVs spotted together

Mahindra has amassed 50,000 bookings for the XUV700 in just a three-hour window. Mahindra earlier said that it will start delivering the petrol variants of the XUV700 by the end of this month while the diesel variant will be delivered to the customers starting next month. Here is a glimpse of thousands of Mahindra XUV700 parked together at its plant.

The image shared by TusharK on T-BHP shows hundreds of Mahindra XUV700 parked at the manufacturer’s Chakan plant. Mahindra is likely to start shipping the delivery models for the customers very soon.

Mahindra aims to deliver about 10,000 units of the XUV700 before the end of this calendar year. The first 25,000 units will be available by February 2022. The XUV700 has received a lot of bookings and given the restrictions in manufacturing due to the shortage of semiconductors in the international markets, there are likely to be a long waiting period on the vehicle.

The report also claims that the Red Rage colour will be available more easily while the Midnight Black colour will get the longest waiting period among all the colour options.

2021 Mahindra XUV700

The all-new Mahindra XUV700 comes with 2.2-litre mHawk diesel and the 2.0-litre mStallion petrol engine. It is quick and can do 0-60 in just 5 seconds. Mahindra offers three driving modes with the all-new XUV700 that will change the behaviour of the engine. Mahindra has not revealed the official power and torque figures of the all-new XUV700.

The petrol engine generates a maximum power of 200 PS and a peak torque of 380 Nm. While the diesel mHawk generates a maximum of 155 PS and peak torque of 360 Nm. Mahindra has not revealed the transmission options as of now.

The all-new Mahindra XUV700 gets an AWD system but there is no proper 4X4 with a low-ratio transfer case. However, there are multiple terrain modes that help the vehicle to cross extreme challenges.

The vehicle also comes with ADAS or Advanced Driver Assistance System that will offer features like an automatic braking system, adaptive cruise control and even driver drowsiness alerts. The XUV700 also gets over 60 connected features that will allow the owners to control the features of the vehicle from anywhere in the world.

The XUV700 will be the first car in India to get integrated Alexa, which means that almost all the features in the vehicle can be controlled through voice. Starting with the multiple zone climate control system, panoramic sunroof and many others. Owners will be able to control the temperature of the cabin wirelessly to get the perfect cabin temperature when they enter the vehicle.
