Mahindra and Mahindra started accepting the bookings for the all-new XUV700 on 7th October. Two weeks after the commencement of the official bookings, Mahindra has announced that more than 65,000 bookings have been made for the all-new XUV700. The deliveries of the new XUV700 will start next week.
While the deliveries of the all-new XUV700 will start on 30th October 2021, Mahindra will do it in a phased manner. Initially, only the petrol variants of the Mahindra XUV700 will be delivered to the customers. At a later date, sometime in the last week of November, the deliveries of the diesel XUV700 will also commence.

Mahindra has partnered with a top global consulting company to introduce a new algorithm-based process for delivering the new XUV700 to customers. The algorithm-based process will streamline the delivery process.
Based on the number of bookings in a city and a dealership, the algorithm will take the number of online bookings and dealership bookings too. It then allows Mahindra to focus on the variants that are higher in demand.
Due to the production constraints that happened due to the shortage in the supply of semiconductors globally, the new process will help Mahindra to manufacture the variants that are high in demand. The deliveries will begin on 27th October. However, that may change depending on the supply chain scenario.
Mahindra XUV700 fully booked in two days
Mahindra started accepting the bookings for the XUV700 on 7th October and in two days, 50,000 bookings were made. The all-new Mahindra XUV700 gets both petrol and diesel engine options. Both the engine options are the most powerful in the segment. The 2.0-litre mStallion petrol engine produces a maximum power of 200 PS and a peak torque of 380 Nm. The engine gets a six-speed manual gearbox and a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission as well.
The diesel variants come with the tried and tested 2.2-litre mHawk diesel unit. The most powerful variants will churn maximum power of 185 Bhp and peak torque of 450 Nm. The lower variants will get the same engine but with a 155 Bhp and 360 Nm set-up. Mahindra offers the AWD system as an option with the higher trims. The XUV700 is the only vehicle in the segment to get AWD.
When it comes to features, the XUV700 remains way ahead of its competitors. The vehicle gets a long list of features including two 10.25-inch screens on the dashboard. These screens work as the infotainment system and instrument cluster. There is also the largest panoramic sunroof in the segment and features like dual-zone automatic climate control system, air purifier, leatherette seats, all-LED headlamps with boosters, wireless phone charger and more. Mahindra has added a 12-speaker system from Sony.
