Here we have a Tata Safari and Mahindra XUV700, being deliberately crashed into each other. Do not worry, its just a game! The cars are just mods created in the popular Grand Theft Auto 5 (GTA5) game available on most popular platforms. The audio commentary is all serious, but its just meant to be an funny imitation of a serious automobile vlog. All in good fun.
The way the cars behave in the game has no relation to reality at all. That is almost impossible, and may be tough for even a supercomputer to simulate.
Tata and Mahindra are some of the Indian car manufacturers that are working of improving the build quality and making safe cars for customers. Both these manufacturers have a variety of products in their portfolio. Tata launched their seven seater SUV Safari in the market earlier this year while Mahindra is all set to launch the XUV700 in the same segment next month. Here we have a video clip from GTA 5 where digitally rendered Mahindra XUV700 and Tata Safari SUV crash into each other.
The video has been shared by G5 Gamers on their YouTube channel. It must be noted that both these cars seen in the video are not real and are generated using computer graphics. These vehicles can be added to the game using mods or packs that are available online. Although, Tata is known to make safe cars, they have not sent Safari or Harrier to Global NCAP test. Mahindra has also not mentioned anything regarding the crash test yet.

In this video, the gamers try to show a Tata Safari and Mahindra XUV700 crashing into each other. In this video, one of the player drives the Tata Safari to the end of an airstrip where they plan to do the crash test. The XUV700 is parked on the other end of the strip. Before starting, the player manages to roll over the Safari and he had to come up with another Safari for the crash.
It must be noted that Safari is actually a front wheel drive SUV but, in this game it is shown as a rear wheel drive SUV. Both SUVs start moving towards each other and they are both closing in at decent speeds. Somewhere in the middle of the airstrip, Tata Safari and Mahindra XUV700 crash into each other. Game managed to show the bumper on Tata Safari flying away along with the grille. Mahindra XUV700 also had a major dent at the front bumper. Parts of the front grille and one of the headlamps got damaged in the crash.
The vlogger mentions that other the dents at the front of both the SUVs nothing much has happened to the car. Tata Safari also managed to break the front windshield at the time of crash. One thing that mush be noted here is that the developer has made justice to the original design of both SUVs. He has paid attention to detail on both the SUVs and that is what makes it more realistic.
This is just a game and the vlogger just did this for fun. In the video both the SUVs looks very well built with only minor damages to on them. We hope Tata and Mahindra send these SUVs to Global NCAP crash test in the future to see how safe these cars actually are. We would urge you not to engage in such activities in real life as it dangerous. Mahindra XUV700 is available with petrol and diesel engine options where both are offered with manual and automatic transmission options. Tata Safari on the other hand comes with a diesel engine that gets manual and automatic option.
