Indian automotive giant Mahindra has expanded its popular XUV300 lineup with the introduction of two new budget-friendly variants – the W2 and W4 TurboSport. These new offerings are aimed at catering to a wider audience by offering exceptional performance, features, and style at competitive price points. The Mahindra XUV300 has been a popular choice among SUV enthusiasts, and these new additions are expected to further solidify its position in the market.
The new W2 and W4 TurboSport variants of the XUV300 are set to redefine the value proposition in the compact SUV segment. With a starting price of Rs 7.99 lakh for the W2 and Rs 9.29 lakh for the W4 TurboSport (ex-showroom), Mahindra is making a bold statement by offering performance-oriented features at accessible price points.
Under the bonnet, both the W2 and W4 TurboSport variants are powered by a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine. The W2 variant generates an impressive 109 BHP at 5,000 rpm and 200 Nm of torque between 2,000 and 3,500 rpm. Meanwhile, the W4 TurboSport variant takes things up a notch with its robust 129 BHP at 5,000 rpm and 230 Nm of torque ranging from 1,500 to 3,750 rpm. Both variants come mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox, delivering a thrilling driving experience while ensuring optimal fuel efficiency.

Mahindra is offering the XUV300 with three different engine options and mulitple variants. The 1.2L TCMPFi engine lineup starts with the W2 variant priced at Rs 7.99 lakh. The next is W4 variant which follows closely at Rs. 8.65 lakh, providing a balance of value and features. Stepping up, the W6 variant comes in at Rs. 9.99 lakh, while the W6 AMT variant, offering the convenience of automatic transmission, is priced slightly higher at Rs. 10.69 lakh. For those looking for a more premium experience, the W8 variant is available at Rs. 11.49 lakh, while the W8(O) variant, with added enhancements, is priced at Rs. 12.59 lakh. Opting for the W8(O) AMT variant with automatic transmission will cost Rs. 13.29 lakh.
Moving to the 1.2L mStallion TGDi engine category, the W4 variant stands at Rs. 9.29 lakh, combining performance with accessibility. The W6 variant in this category comes in at Rs. 10.49 lakh, while the top-tier W8 variant, packed with advanced features, is priced at Rs. 11.99 lakh. The W8(O) variant in this category takes it up a notch at Rs. 12.99 lakh.
Finally, the 1.5L Diesel engine options feature the W4 variant at Rs. 10.20 lakh, delivering power and efficiency. Stepping up to the W6 variant will cost Rs. 10.99 lakh, while the W6 AMT variant offers the convenience of automatic transmission at Rs. 12.29 lakh. The W8 variant in the diesel range is priced at Rs. 12.99 lakh, while the feature-rich W8(O) variant comes in at Rs. 13.91 lakh. Opting for the W8(O) AMT variant with automatic transmission in the diesel category will require an investment of Rs. 14.59 lakh.
