Malayalam movie star Prithviraj buys a pre-owned Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG SUV [Video]

Malayalam actor, director and producer Prithviraj is one of the leading actors in the Malayalam movie industry. Along with Malayalam, the actor has also acted in other languages. Like many other actors from the South Indian films industry, Prithviraj is also known for his love for expensive cars. He was the first actor in Malayalam industry to buy a brand new Lamborghini Huracan. He kept the car for few years and later exchanged it for a used Urus SUV. Now the actor has picked up another pre-owned luxury SUV. This time, the Prithviraj has opted for a Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG SUV.

The actor bought the SUV from Royal Drive, which is one of the leading pre-owned luxury car dealer in Kerala. Royal Drive only released a short video of the actor and the Mercedes-Benz G63 online. This is the second time, Prithiviraj is buying a pre-owned luxury car from Royal Drive. First one was Lamborghini Urus earlier this year. The G63 AMG bought by the actor is the current generation SUV in Emerald Green Metallic shade. It is a very unique shade and the actor can be seen driving the same SUV in this video.

Mercedes-Benz has several cars and SUVs in their line-up in India but, G-Wagen is always special. It has been a popular SUV among celebrities, sports personalities in India and abroad. The current generation G63 AMG was launched in 2018 and soon became popular among celebrities in India. The G63 AMG is a performance SUV that is powerful on the road and is capable off-road as well. In comparison to the previous generation G63 AMGs, the SUV looks more premium and has long list of features.

The boxy design of the SUV has been retained but, the corners are all smooth or curved. The SUV comes with leather wrapped seats with electrical adjustments, multi-zone climate control, cruise control, fully digital instrument cluster, touchscreen infotainment system and so on. The interior of the G63 AMG that Prithviraj has bought is done in Red and Black dual-tone finish and looks extremely sporty. Prithviraj is not the first actor in Malayalam movie industry to buy a G63 AMG. Dulquer Salmaan who is one of the biggest car enthusiast in the industry has a G63 AMG in Designo Olive Green shade. Asif Ali, who is also a Malayalam actor also used to own an older generation G55 AMG.

The one that Prithviraj bought is current generation G-Wagen and in comparison to older version, the new version comes with lot of changes including the engine. It is now powered by a smaller 4.0 litre, bi-turbo V8 petrol engine. The engine generates 576 bhp and 850 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission and the power is sent to all four wheels. Exact price at which the actor had bought the G63 AMG is not known however, we are sure that it is much lower than a brand new SUV. A brand new G63 AMG SUV is priced at Rs 2.55 crore, ex-showroom.
