Actor Maniesh Paul Buys Mini Countryman 4-Door SUV Worth Rs 48 Lakh

Popular actor and host Maniesh Paul has recently bought a brand new Mini Countryman luxury SUV. The actor shared the image of his new luxury SUV on social media. Maniesh Paul, along with his wife Sanyukta, took delivery of their new car. Mini Coopers and Mini Countrymans are popular among celebrities in India, and we have featured some on our website as well. The car bought by the actor is priced at Rs 48.10 lakh, ex-showroom.

Maniesh Paul posted the image of himself standing next to his new ride with a caption, “And our new baby is home!” The car that Maniesh Paul has bought is finished in British Green shade with Black racing stripes on the bonnet. BMW used to sell Mini models in India as CBU, but in 2018, they started local assembly of these models, which made these cars a lot more affordable than before.

The Mini Countryman is the most practical Mini one can buy. This 4-door compact SUV is a lot wider and longer than the 3-door hatchback that Mini offers in India. The front grille of the SUV looks unmistakably Mini. The headlamp design is slightly tweaked. Instead of an oval shape, the Countryman gets a slightly squared design.

The headlamps also get a black border around them. The headlamps are projector LED units with integrated LED DRLs in them. The Mini badge is placed in the center of the bonnet just above the front grille. The front grille is a wide unit with an S branding on it. The Mini Countryman gets a muscular bumper with air vents and fog lamps on the lower portion.

The side profile of the SUV looks like a beefed-up version of the Mini Cooper. At the rear, the Countryman gets a bulky look with LED tail lamps with Union Jack design in them. Countryman badge is present on the tailgate as well. The Mini Countryman is available in the JCW variant only.

The Mini Countryman is powered by a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that generates 189 bhp and 280 Nm of peak torque. This engine is mated to a 7-speed DCT gearbox as standard and it comes with Sport and Green drive modes too.

As this is a compact SUV or crossover that costs over Rs 50 lakh or just as much as a Toyota Fortuner, it comes with a lot of premium features in it. It gets a round touchscreen infotainment screen, multi-function steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, electric sunroof, and so on. Like most car manufacturers around the world, Mini has also entered the world of electric cars, and they have launched the Mini Cooper SE in the Indian market.

This is not the only luxury car that Maniesh Paul has in his garage. A few years ago, the actor also bought a brand new Mercedes-Benz GLS 400d luxury SUV.
