Maruti Suzuki offers a variety of models in the Indian market. Some of these models have undergone updates over the years, while others have been discontinued due to government emission and safety regulations. One such model that gained popularity among enthusiasts was the Maruti Baleno sedan. Although the Baleno is now known as a hatchback, there are still a decent number of Baleno sedans available in the used car market. The Baleno 1.6 sedan is particularly popular among the modification circuit, and we have seen a couple of tastefully modified examples in the past. Here, we have a Baleno sedan from Kerala that has undergone modifications worth Rs 3 lakh.

The video featuring these modifications has been uploaded by Prejimon Pradeep on his YouTube channel. In the video, the vlogger interviews the owner of the Baleno sedan to discuss the modifications made to the car. The owner mentions that it has always been his dream to own a Baleno sedan and modify it. However, the video does not provide specific details about the shop where he customized the car. The owner does mention that the stock color of the sedan was champagne gold, but he wanted his car to stand out, so he had it painted in a unique shade of greyish blue.

All the chrome elements on this sedan have been blacked out or removed. The bonnet has been completely customized, featuring multiple air vents and scoops that add a muscular look to the car. The headlamps remain stock, but custom LED DRLs and a projector LED light setup have been added. Moving down, the stock bumper has been customized to give the sedan a sportier appearance, incorporating integrated LED lights. The fog lamps have been removed, and the lower airdam now appears wider and is finished in a silver shade.

In terms of the side profile, the Baleno 1.6 sedan boasts custom fenders that are wider, accommodating the new deep dish chrome-finished alloy wheels neatly. Additionally, side skirts have been added, enhancing the sporty look of the car. The owner also mentions that the car has been lowered, altering its overall appearance. The door handles and ORVMs are finished in gloss black, while the brushed aluminum strip around the window has been retained.

Moving to the rear of the car, a large spoiler has been mounted on the boot of the sedan. The owner explains that he designed it himself, and it is made of metal. The rear bumper has been customized, featuring F1-type lights at the bottom. The stock tail lamps have been modified with masking tape to create a LED-like appearance. The car is equipped with quad exhaust tips at the rear, all of which are functional. Furthermore, the car has a full system exhaust that produces an extremely loud sound. Although some may argue that it sounds sporty, the owner doesn’t believe so. The owner purchased this sedan about a year ago and received it after modification just a few months ago. He has already spent around Rs 3 lakh on exterior modifications and now plans to customize the interiors as well.
