The video has been uploaded by Motogeek by Jackson on their YouTube channel. We have featured several tastefully modified Baleno from Kerala in the past but, this is different. Mainly because of the fact that it gets air suspensions installed. This is actually a very popular Baleno on the internet. The vlogger along with the owner of this Baleno start exploring all the modifications that are done to it. Starting at the front, the stock front grille has been removed and replaced with an aftermarket grille with honey comb design in it.
The headlights now get LED DRLs and lights. The fog lamps installed on this Baleno are projector LED units. Lower grille on the Baleno gets LED lights and the bumper also gets a front lip that looks sporty on the car. All the chrome elements on the car have been removed and the car follows a red and black sporty theme. The side profile of the car reveals a sporty looking RS wrap along with 17 inch aftermarket alloy wheels. The main attraction here is the air suspension.
The owner can be heard saying that air suspension work was done by N1 Concept Kochi. The height of the suspension can be controlled using a remote or the switches fixed on the center console. The compressor and other components of the air suspension are placed inside the boot. The work looks very neat and the owner says that, the air suspension come with 1 year warranty. A side skirt is also seen on the side of the car.
Moving to the rear, the Baleno gets aftermarket tail lamps and the rear bumper is a custom made unit. Moving inside, the Baleno maintains the red and black theme. It gets red colour panels on the pillar and the steering wheel. The roof get an all-black liner. What makes this Baleno different from other that we have seen so far is that, it is a diesel powered Baleno. Maruti has discontinued it from the market. The diesel version of Baleno was powered by a 1.3 litre Fiat sourced engine.
The engine in this Baleno has received a Stage 1+ remap from Code6 and now generates a maximum of 105 Bhp and 245 Nm of torque. It also gets K&N air filter along with a full system diesel exhaust. The owner can be heard saying on video that, it is not a loud exhaust. Overall, the modifications on the car look very neat and definitely give it a sporty look.
