In recent times, YouTubers who create content related to cars and motorcycles have been engaging in a trend of producing unique and unusual videos. These content creators try their best to attract public attention and increase their views. One such recent attempt was made by “Experiment King”, who covered a Maruti Suzuki Dzire completely with coins all over its exterior.
In a video posted by “Experiment King”, the content creators successfully managed to cover the entire exterior of a Maruti Suzuki Dzire VXI with coins. The compact sedan, which was originally painted in Magma Grey, had double-sided tapes placed on its surface, and the presenters in the video stuck coins simultaneously on the tape strips. The work started with placing double-sided tapes on the bonnet, and the presenters gradually moved to the front and rear bumpers and fenders, door panels, boot lid, rearview mirrors, and roof. However, the blacked-out B-pillars, door handles, and wheels of the car were left in their original conditions.

The video also shows the challenges the presenters faced while attempting this experiment. For this challenge, the presenters collected almost 1 lakh coins, which covered the entire car. They also described how it was difficult to stick coins in the cavities behind the pull-back type outer door handles of the car. Despite these difficulties, the presenters managed to cover the car with 1 lakh coins in three days. The video also demonstrates the public attention that this car garnered when it was driven on the roads. Due to the bling of coins all over the car, it caught the attention wherever it went. However, a few coins dropped off the car during the experiment.
Apart from the unique experiment of sticking coins all over the exterior of the Dzire, the presenters made no changes to the interior and mechanicals of the car. The Dzire featured in the video is the VXI variant of its pre-facelifted petrol-powered version. In this version, it came with a 1.2-litre petrol engine that can deliver 83 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque.
The Maruti Suzuki Dzire underwent a mild makeover in 2020. The car received a new front fascia and a new 1.2-litre K12C Dualjet petrol engine. This new engine claims 90 PS of power while retaining its peak torque output.
