Maruti Suzuki Dzire
Max Discount: Rs. 83,000
The Maruti Suzuki Dzire is the most popular compact sedan of India. It is currently running on discounts up to Rs. 83,000. The petrol powered variants of the Dzire get a cash discount of Rs 25,000 while the older 2018 stock gets a cashback of Rs. 30,000. An exchange bonus of Rs 30,000 is available on the petrol variants. The diesel engine variants of Dzire get Rs 20,000 cash discount while the older 2018 model gets Rs. 40,000 cashback. Then there is a Rs 40,000 exchange bonus on the car. The exchange bonus drop by Rs. 10,000 is the car being exchanged is over 7 years old. A further amount of Rs. 3,000 is available as a corporate discount.
Hyundai Xcent
Max Discount: Rs. 75,100
The Hyundai Xcent has one of the best interiors in the sub-compact sedan segment. It rivals the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire and the Honda Amaze among others in the segment. As of March, the car is getting discounts worth Rs. 75,100. The discount scheme available on the car includes a direct cashback of Rs. 40,000 along with an additional exchange bonus of Rs. 30,000. Apart from this, Hyundai is offering a special benefit worth Rs. 5,100 for government employess who book the car this month.
Volkswagen Ameo
Max Discount: Rs. 1.35 lakh plus
The Polo based compact sedan from Volkswagen is running on huge discounts this month. The discount offer available on the Ameo includes a 10% off scheme on the ex-showroom price of the car, which means about Rs. 60,000 to 90,000 off on the price. However, this is only applicable to the 2018 models. The 2019 models are getting a cashback of Rs. 30,000. Then there is an exchange bonus of Rs. 20,000 along with a loyalty bonus of Rs. 10,000 on all models and an additional corporate bonus worth Rs. 15,000 on select models. Apart from this, Volkswagen is offering a 4-year warranty cover, 4-year roadside assistance and 1st-year labour free service. All this takes the discount scheme well above Rs. 1.35 lakhs.
Nissan Sunny
Max Discount: Rs. 1.28 lakh
The Nissan sunny offers best in class rear seat space in its segment. It has a start price of Rs. 6.99 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) and at that price point, its only proper competitor is the Toyota Etios. As for the discount scheme, Nissan is currently offering the Sunny with a flat Rs. 1.28 lakh discount. The discount scheme, however, only applies to the top end XV CVT variant of 2018 make. Toyota Yaris
Max Discount: Rs. 1.34 lakh
The Yaris has not been able to gather enough buyers despite Toyota’s earnest attempts. For the same, it is now being offered with a huge discount of up to Rs. 1.34 lakhs. The J manual model is getting a discount of Rs 25,000 upon financing the car apart from Rs 20,000 worth of exchange bonus and Rs 20,000 worth of corporate discount. For the Yaris J CVT, there is a discount of Rs 42,000 upon financing the car along with an additional Rs. 20,000 as exchange bonus. Apart from this, there is a corporate discount worth Rs. 20,000 also on offer, taking the total discount sum to Rs. 82,000. A bigger Rs. 1.34 lakh discount is being given away on the Yaris V variant. The discount scheme here includes Rs. 84,000 benefit upon financing the car along with Rs. 20,000 as exchange bonus and an extra Rs. 30,000 as a corporate discount.

The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz rivals the likes of Honda City and the Hyundai Verna in its segment. The car is currently getting a discount of Rs. 95,000, which is highest among all the Maruti cars. The discount scheme includes direct cashback of Rs. 60,000 along with an exchange bonus of Rs. 25,000 on the manual transmission equipped models for the older 2018 stock. The Hyundai Elantra is one of the most affordable D segment sedan available in India currently. It will get a generation update by the end of this year or next year in order to compete with the likes of the new Honda Civic and the upcoming new Toyota Corolla.
