Maruti Ertiga is one of the most popular MUVs in its segment. It has been in the market for almost a decade and is considered a value for money product in its price range. Recently, Maruti updated the Ertiga and is now available with an updated engine and a new automatic transmission along with cosmetic changes. Along with the Maruti Ertiga, XL6 also received updates and a detailed review of the same is available on our website and YouTube channel. People who own the pre-facelift models of Ertiga and XL6 have already started customising their vehicles to make them look like facelifted versions. Here we have one such video, where a pre-facelift Maruti Ertiga gets tail lamps from the XL6 facelift.
The video has been uploaded by VIG AUTO ACCESSORIES on their YouTube channel. In this video, the vlogger talks about the modification that he and his team has done to the Ertiga. At the front, the front grille on this Ertiga was replaced with an original facelift version. The headlamps are all blacked out and they now come with Bugatti style ring LED DRLs and projector headlamps in them. The colour of light in the LED DRLs can be changed using a mobile application.

A set of projector LED fog lamps have also been installed. In order to achieve a sporty look, the front bumper gets the Indonesian body kit. Coming to the side profile, the steel rims on the MUV were replaced with 16 inch aftermarket alloy wheels from Lenso. A side skirting that is part of the body kit can also be seen here. The body coloured door handles were replaced with chrome units from top-end variant. The car is now finished in dual-tone as the roof and the pillars are wrapped in black.
At the rear, the car gets a sporty looking aftermarket spoiler mounted on the roof. The original tail lamps of the Ertiga were replaced with smoked LED tail lamp units from the updated XL6. Along with the tail lamps, the panel running between the tail lamps on the tail gate was also replaced. It now gets the XL6’s gloss black panel with a chrome garnish on it. The rear bumper also gets the Indonesian body kit and a set of reflector lamps can also be seen.
Along with the exterior, interior in this Maruti Ertiga has also been customised. The car gets Cherry Red and beige themed interiors. There are black elements used to give it a premium look. The door pads are wrapped in leather and the plastic trims on the door are finished in Red and Black. The upper portion of the dashboard along with the pillar is wrapped leather. The plastic trims on the dashboard are also finished in dual-tone. The seats are wrapped in Red leather upholstery and there is an aftermarket touchscreen installed as well. Ambient lights have also been installed and the roof liner is now all black. The car also gets Red coloured floor mats, speakers, damping on all-four doors as well.
