Maruti Ertiga with customised interior looks beautiful

Maruti Ertiga is currently one of the most popular MPVs in its segment. It currently has no direct rival in the market. It has been in the market for a very long time and is popular as a family vehicle and also in the commercial segment. Just like Toyota Innova and Innova Crysta, many Ertiga owners have been customising the MPV to make it look upmarket and more comfortable. We have several examples of modified Maruti Ertiga on our website and here we have a video where the interiors on an Ertiga have been neatly modified.

The video has been uploaded by VIG AUTO ACCESSORIES on their YouTube channel. In this video, the vlogger talks about all the customisation that are done to the interior. The fabric seat covers on the Ertiga were replaced with ultra soft custom seat covers. The ice grey and black dual tone seat covers give the interior a premium look.

The floor gets 7D mats and the plastic trims on the dashboard and the door get galaxy black finish. The steering wheel on this Ertiga was replaced for a higher variant unit and it comes with steering mounted audio controls as well. As this is not the top-end trim, it did not come with touchscreen infotainment system from the factory.

An aftermarket infotainment system was installed on the car. The frame around the screen and the dashboard are all finished in galaxy black. The car also gets Ertiga’s original driver armrest from the higher variant and the steering wheel is also wrapped in leather. Other major modification here is the ambient lights. The door panels, dashboard and bottle holder on the door all get lights in them. The colour of these lights can be controlled using a mobile application.

With all these modifications in place, the Ertiga looks a lot more premium than regular version. Vlogger also made some changes to the exterior of this Ertiga. The stock headlamps now gets LED lights in them. An aftermarket LED DRL has also been integrated into the headlamp. The fog lamps are also using aftermarket lights in them. Lower part of the bumper gets a lower lip finished in gloss black.

Coming to the side profile, the car retains original steel rims but, they now get a dual tone wheel cap which mimic the look of an alloy wheel. The car gets front fender garnish, lower window chrome garnish, door visors, Maruti’s body coloured genuine door beading and so on. The customer had requested for a roof carrier, so that has also been installed in this.

At the rear, Ertiga gets XL6 pillar lamps, XL6 like diffuser on the rear bumper and reflector lamps are also installed on the bumper. The work done on this Maruti Ertiga does not look like a lot. The car has decent number of modifications but, they do not look loud from any angle. Maruti is currently working on a facelift for both Ertiga and XL6 and it is likely to be introduced in the market next year.
