The Tata Ace rival has only been launched in Ahmedabad, Ludhiana and Kolkata as of now. The reason behind the launch in phases is that Maruti is going to setup all new dealership network for their LCVs. Pricing for the Super Carry starts at Rs 4.01 lakhs in Kolkata. It will only be available in diesel avatar. The same 800 cc engine that does duty on the Celerio will be doing duty on the Super Carry as well. It will however produce only 32 Bhp and 75 Nm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and is capable of reaching a top speed of 80 kmph. Fuel economy figures are at 22.07 km/l.
