India’s WILDEST modified Maruti Ignis: This is it [Video]

Maruti Suzuki Ignis is an entry level hatchback sold by Maruti via Nexa dealerships across the country. Many people love it for the unique design and the compact shape that it has. It is a popular car in the modifying circle and we have seen several examples of the same in the past. Maruti Suzuki earlier this year launched an updated BS6 version of the Ignis with some cosmetic changes. Everything on the BS6 version remains the same except for revised bumper and new colour options. Here we have a Maruti Ignis which is likely to be one of the wildest looking modified Ignis in India.

The video has been uploaded by Mohit Malik on his youtube channel. The video basically shows all the modification that are done to the car. This is a rally spec car and most of the modifications done on it is to make it drive-able in a rally. On the outside, it gets a dual wrap on the car. The right side of the car gets a yellow wrap whereas the left side gets a multi colour wrap. Starting from the front, the bonnet on this car has been replaced with a fibre unit with air vents in them. There are latches to keep the bonnet in place and the front bumper is a quick release bumper held with a bungee cord and latches.

The car sits a bit lower than before and it gets rally spec tyres and rims and at the rear,it gets latches on the boot and blacked out tail lamps. The exhaust pipe is a straight pipe unit and comes from the right side of the car. On the inside, all the seats and panels have been removed to reduce the weight and is it is equipped with a hydraulic handbrake. There is an engine kill switch and uses the stock steering wheel.

This is the  litre petrol engine and the stock ECU on this car has been remapped. The headers have been replaced with custom made units. The air filter has also been replaced with BMC unit for better intake. Chassis braces and body braces are installed to improve the rigidity. Overall, the car looks awesome and the vlogger can be heard saying that the work on this car has not been finished yet.
